Plain-language details about what happens when you use CutoutKit.
Images you upload
CutoutKit does not save your original or processed images. Files are sent over an encrypted connection to remove.bg, our image-processing provider, and the result is streamed directly back to your browser. According to remove.bg, images sent through its API are deleted immediately after processing.
Temporary browser data
Your browser creates temporary Blob URLs so you can preview and download images. These URLs exist only on your device for the current session and are released when you replace an image, refresh the page, or close the tab.
Security and abuse prevention
We may process limited technical information such as request time, response status, approximate region, and an abbreviated or one-way rate-limit identifier. Cloudflare Turnstile may also process browser and network signals to distinguish people from automated traffic. We do not include your images or filenames in analytics.
Cookies and analytics
CutoutKit does not require an account and does not use advertising cookies. We may use privacy-focused, aggregate traffic analytics to understand page performance and feature usage.
Third-party services
- Cloudflare provides hosting, security, and bot protection.
- remove.bg processes images solely to remove their backgrounds.
